A startup by the name Sitedrop now enables us to create a collaborative workspace by just connecting to our Dropbox folder.
On Sitedrop things are as simple managing your folders and files on your desktop and similar controls on who can view or upload files onto the site.
My personal experience with this is that the sites hosted here are a bit slow as of now , but over time it will improve. Here are some sample websites hosted here:
